Basic valve buffer stage using 6AH4 tubes, which are an excellent sounding US triode with a gain of 8 and a low output impedance of 1.8K. Will drive amps with an input impedance of 20K or greater. Coupling caps are 0.1uF so designed to drive valve amps. They could be changed to a higher value for SS amps, but sold as is.
This is something I put together for my own use and it sounds very nice, but is on the shelf ATM. Parts are the best audiophile quality - FT-2 teflon output caps, Kemet DC Link polypropylene cathode bypass and PSU caps. If you like a valve sound in front of your amp this is a good sounding one.
No switching or volume control - you would put a passive pre in front of it. Size 18x18x14cm so small and light. PM for photos.
