Hello,

I would be very interested to see details and a schematic of the crossover network used in the Rogers Studio 2(a) the PM510 & MKII (Chartwell) PM450P Loudspeaker which are the domestic passive versions of the Rogers (BBC) LS 5/8 grade 1 monitor.

I am planning to build a pair of crossover networks so that I can have the option of passive / active operation for a pair of LS 5/8 monitors subject to me locating a pair, hopefully which I will find soon!!

More info here

That's a long silence... Have you sourced some LS5/8?

I'd ask Falcon if they have any likely candidates, and then work from their.

The Chartwell model is the PM450P

Rogers models include the PM510 / II and the Studio 2/a

I like the new forum skin, so much better :)

I was looking for a pair of LS5/8s at one point. but have now put that on a back burner as Graham made a suitable crossover so if I did consider an LS5/8 I would look to use Graham's crossover with my preferred amplification.

Will probably look for a pair of Chartwell PM450Ps or the Rogers PM510 I/IIs which already have a suitable crossover already inside.

The Rogers Studio 2 use a different tweeter made by Celestion, so not sure how they compare.
