btw--i don't think i am young enough to understand how to navigate that flash web-page correctly. when i perform what i think i the correct sequence of 4 hover events to finally click on a thumbnail, an add pops up.

Ian's right about XTOL as a developer. I use it !:1 for HP5, TriX and Fuji Neopan. Just great developer. Only problem is you have to buy it in 5 litre packs (in powder form). That's about 30+ films. It will last up to 6 months after making stock solution, and it's cheap - about 7 quid for the 5 L pack.

Stupidly just missed a Rolleiflex 3.5F for £200 on eBay by about 5 seconds. Still a bit nervous about what I might be buying however. Dealer prices still seem around the £400-500 mark.

I think you should have definitely bought it 'cos prices are rising.

That's insane. My 3.5 Tessar is in much better condition than that and cost me about £200 around a year ago, and that was from a dealer, with a 3 month warranty.
