For sale is my Beresford Caiman Seg 30 with Dorado power supply enhancer £75

Superb value for money DAC that I used a lot before I upgraded to my Chord Qutest.

Mint condition. Boxed with power supply, Dorado enhancer and instructions.

Pick up from West Kirby (Wirral, Merseyside) preferred but I could post for c£7.

I also travel to Dublin frequently and could put it in my hand luggage if anybody in the Irish Republic is interested.
 
The Dorado for those that aren’t familiar is a supercapacitor bank that the DAC runs off. Supposed to provide the benefits of a high quality PSU.

No better place to put £75 if an inexpensive DAC is needed.

2 optical, 1 Co-Ax and a USB. Also has a pre amp function which is useful, particularly for older amps that want a lower level output.

Good liquid musical quality to them. Slightly quirky interface but, £75.. also upgradable… I’m told the headphone amp is very good.

Recommended for sure. 👍

Think it’s a Wolfson chip.
 
Oh the latest chip you can get for them is the SEG 50.. it’s a whole £tenner… pop it in DIY.

Bargain device.
