    MQA Supported Dacs

Give MQA a wide berth. You'll not be missing anything - as done to death here since its inception as a money-maker, proven, ahem, 'unqualified, baseless, land-grab'.

The watch thread: pocket, wrist, sporty, showy? You name it!

Maybe you just need a new pair of matching spring bars - very, very cheap online. Also check the pockets in the ears they latch-into are clean & clear full depth - may need a loupe. ATB

    Solar Panel "Voltage Optimisers"

@Ewen1970 : your instinct is right: avoid, avoid; avoid. Sanity check: NO manufacturer goes into the Grid-tied Inverter business - and all the necessary, incredibly expensive Type-Approvals and EMC emissions for diff markets -testing requirements - while out for a quick buck expecting to...

Help setting quiescent current nap 135

I think your 0.9mV is spurious , because you are measuring that across the in-series output resistor (also 0R22 value). For which you should read 0v! (excpet DVMS have such a very, very high input impedance, seeing something like a fraction of a single mV is just error, esp with economical DVMs)...

Protecting local airfields from housing developments

Signed - because I agree and also there are similar moves afoot on club-level motorsport for example - esp where people move near a venue , that's been running over a century in some cases, moaning about the noise (- at what point did you, not research the area ..? * ) Such is having a downer...

... Price up a new hub nut, next time. I had this issue on the old Beetles I've owned - which 36mm, torqued to 250lb-ft, then + up to 1/6 turn (!) to make the castellations align for the plit-pin (like fuse-wire is 'securing' anything at that point..) And - you have to get that off to un-seize...

    Small speakers for loft room

Ooh, just thought of another compact but high-quality wonder for the OP: Ruark Sabres @stevied can speak to owning a pair very long term. I always found them really long-term enjoyable. Which is of course, the end goal.

Car buying; does anyone enjoy it?

And DOT5 is silicone based, and has a different problem - it absorbs/traps air, makes the pedal squidgy far, far faster /worse than trad DOT4 ! Besides which - for hydroscopic action to imperil DOT 4 fluids - thre are only few relavant routes -in Dodgy caliper seals (fix: service/new calipers)...
