What im trying to say is Dsd,flac mp3 are only as good as the ldac codec.Wont a dsd file sound the same as an mp3.

I have a Fiio btr 3 which I'm happy with no it doesn't sound as good as my oppo but its ok.It supports Ldac.The new version the btr5 does Dsd but because i would be using it via bluetooth doesn't that affect the quality.I mean i wouldn't get any benefit. Apologies if im being thick.

I cancelled tidal trial ,went to take a trial out with qobuz and saw the reviews so didnt bother.I will stick with tidal and see how it goes .

I like all music from drum and bass to classical but ideally I wouldn't get on with all classical and jazz.

Unfortunately, the dacs are powered by the micro USB cable which plugs into the pc.

what I mean is buzzing noises sounds like rf noise. you can hear the pc through the dac.
