No they were cheap as chips, intended for car audio I believe. Used as super tweeters they opened up the sound stage. ProAc used them for years.

Been there, done that in the early 80s. ESL 57s, home made bass bins with 10inch ATC drivers and Piezo tweeters mounted on top. Sounded pretty good.

The Hyperspace was designed with the Graphite 'mat' and it is supplied as standard. The 'mat' weighs more than many other companies platters. Main bearings on Notts turntables are different depending on the model. Just spotted the prices. The Hyper is a no-brainer.

I would suggest the Hyperspace is the better bet especially if it comes with that arm. The Hyperspace took over from the old Mentor. Dais is a different thing entirely.

No, it means there were 200 remaining in total. I believe a total of 25K were made.
