For example a dealer on the Linn Forum told the disciple the new K200 is much better than K400, viola thousand of metres sold
Is this the revelation that a Linn dealer may tell a potential customer that Linn's new product is better than their discontinued one....
I'm guessing tiny unit sales + consequential huge mark-up = not worth bothering.
It's nice to have a choice other than Lyra when my Kleos has done its dash. Given the pricing of around a thousand squids, it seems pitched against the Delos rather than the Kleos. It'll be interesting to read some reviews of it in time. This cartridge should be a good match for Aro users - correct geometry and no flying leads.
Are there any specs like compliance, mass, impedance and output?
Is that an aluminium pipe I see on it?
Cheers, I missed scrolling down the page. Some specs at the bottom of this link:
http://www.linn.co.uk/hifi-separates/turntables/cartridges#krystal
Grabbed this spec from the Linn Forum:
(Sensitivity = 0.25mV +/- 1 dB @ 1kHz)
I think the Krystal is more or less in the Lyra Delos price range, and the latter has a boron cantilever. No chance of boron at that price point for Linn? Looking forwards to reading about opinions on its SQ
