Just a quick learning question can these 100v units be converted to 240v? Just curious.

There’s no real point, 240-100V transformers work well so nobody bothers.

This isn't the original with the TDA1541, I think it's Sony's own chips for D/A conversion. As mentioned, insane build quality.

All Japanese gear can run equally on both 50Hz and 60Hz (as Japan has both grids...!) so you can just use a voltage convertor if needed.

Just don't forget that it is 100V if you ever come to unplug it as I nearly did with my SACD player, thereby rendering the unit useless instantly.
