Zep Vinyl

Hi all,

I am looking to get some original Zep vinyl. Can anyone recommend which editions to get? Basically, I was hoping to get the best original standard releases from roughly when they were released not remasters or exotic versions etc. Any ideas of price and/or catalogue numbers would really be appreciated. Probably look to get LZ II and IV first

Max price would be about £25ea.

I can only speak for US pressings. Led Zeppelin II would be the #8236 US pressing mastered by Bob Ludwig. Led Zeppelin IV would preferably be any early US pressing with GP/Porky/Pecko Duck in the dead wax. I have not heard or read of any UK pressing besting these.

Don't know about the German pressings specifically but I think for £25 each you will easily be able to get one of the later UK or foreign pressings. You might even pick up a Japanese copy if you are lucky ...
