Your YouTube Adventures

Was chasing a YouTube rabbit hole last night and found the Physics girl. Quite entertaining but this was the best thing I watched, an interview with the head of the LIGO facility in Handford WA

I haven't waded through the whole thread, but if you missed this when it was first put up there
The second half in particular gives a good idea of what it takes to race on the Nordschleife.

Six years old, how could anyone not like this, you have to watch it all.

At six years old I think I was still licking frozen pipes.

Allen Millyard. Proper man in a shed engineering. "I need to make some 4 cylinder cams fit the 6 cylinder bike I'm making"- gets out angle grinder. Amazing work.

This guy should join us on pink fish. Wait, that's not right - it is us who should him!

If you are of a science bent, this podcast is ace. Basically, particle physicist Steve Carroll either talks about physics or chats to another academic about their research and the wider implications. There are lots of old episodes and they are standalone and you can just fire one up if it looks like something you might be interested in.
