Your Top Three Favourite Albums From The 90s?

1. Oasis - Definitely Maybe (1994)
2. Half Man Half Biscuit - Voyage to the Bottom of the Road (1997)
3. Pulp - Different Class (1995)

This reads like a great charity shop CD shopping list - the majority of these titles are readily available for 25p - £1. Snap them up.

And a small fortune on vinyl Thanks to a heads up on here I pre-ordered the reissue of "Lifeforms" and that' reissue is already going for north of 40 quid now.

Underworld; Secondtoughestintheinfants
Soundgarden; Superunknown
Smashing Pumpkins; Gish

Ian McNabb - Merseybeast (1996)
Ministry - ΚΕΦΑΛΗ ΞΘ (1992)
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Murder Ballads (1996)

There's hundreds more again though :D

Far From the Maddening Crowds - Chicane - the best trance album ever and yes I know most of you will hate trance but tough!
Achtung Baby - U2 - a genius reinvention, answer and cure for the post Joshua Tree 'biggest band in the world' syndrome.
Depeche Mode - Violator - from nasal poppy Erasuresque forgettability to serious musicianship and the depth of songwriting to match, this was their finest hour.

my top 3 records from 90's:
The Cure -Wish
Depeche Mode -Ultra
Tears For Fears - Elemental
close runners:
Marillion -Brave
B Springsteen - Ghost of Tom Joad
Sting- Mercury Falling

Making this list I realised how many of my favourites fall just outside of the 90s - loads in 200-2001 and 1987-1989!

Anyway:
Pulp - Different Class
Weezer - Blue Album
Primal Scream - Screamadelica

How could I forget
Janes Addiction - Ritual de lo habitual
Robert Plant - Fate of Nations
I miss the 90s
