Your Top Five Solo Female Singers?

Lisa Gerrard is my #1.

...also love Joni Mitchell, Skin from Skunk Anansie, Beth Gibbons from Portishead, Lou Rhodes from Lamb, and FKA Twigs as a newcomer:

My first five would be Denny, Bush, pre-cocaine Nicks, Wheeler and Bjork.

Fraser, Sioux, Hynde, Sade, early Brickell, Hersh, Butcher. B, Harvey and, weirdly, Deal (Kim) have all been popular in my house too :)

Ofra Haza
Celine Dion
Cyndi Lauper
Marta Sebestyen ( about 5-6 minutes in here)
Gong Linna
Emma Kirkby ( the young version )
Christine Collister
Peng Liyuan
Mireille Mathieu
no particular order
