Your favourite mafia film or related actors films etc

Whatever you do, do not watch a Tarantino film a second time. It will ruin it for you forever.
Goodfellas ..mentioned…Sopranos…also mentioned.

If you can countenance the idea of a Geordie based micromafia and stretch it from one end of the universe to the other then ‘Get Carter’ might qualify. A commanding performance by Mr Micklewhite.

Donnie Brasco is great, and Pacino is superb in it.

Thirded on Miller's Crossing.

On TV, I really enjoyed Boardwalk Empire, and ofc The Sopranos, which is still probably my favourite ever TV series along with Six Feet Under and Seinfeld.

There are some great Japanese yakuza films too. Two of my favourites are both directed by and star Takeshi Kitano - Sonatine and Hana-Bi

Wow. I knew I hadn’t imagined it. An old girlfriend had a two cassette vhs box that had that on it and it was brilliant.

It certainly was, I am pretty sure there’s some additional footage in there too. Wish I could find it on a digital medium.

I thought it was great at the time but it hasn’t aged too well.

Can’t really add to the list but, although I’ve only watched it once, I thought Pulp Fiction was excellent.

Cheers BB
Pulp Fiction is great, Jackie Brown could qualify in some ways. I found the the face off scene between DeNiro & Pacino to be rather terrible.

They don't get as much attention but Casino and Donnie Brasco are two of my personal favourites.

Another shout for Boardwalk Empire. Terrific story, great cast.
