Yet another iTunes Q

I've removed all my AAC rips, so now i'm just left with the AIFFs but how do i now update the iTunes library as it's still showing the AACs even though the files have been deleted?

remove the lot then drag the music folder onto the optn and empty itunes window.It will rebuild the data base then.

itunes assumes they are still there when you remove the physical files. A better way to do it is view by file ttype in itunes select all the aac ones then delete them, itunes will check you want to delete the actual files confirm this.

Ah, that makes sense. I remember doing something like that before now but it was a while ago and the old brain cells aint increasing in number...
