XLR Cable recommendations

Any recommendations for a pair of balanced XLR cables please? Looking for 1m length.
Budget around £200 and interested in options other than the usual Audioquest/Chord offerings... you know, something a bit more artisan/cottage industry. These are to be used to go between a DAC and pre.
Oh, and thanks (but no-thanks) for recommendations for Amazon Basics or similar 'cause cables don't make any difference etc.!

You could try Chris Duwe of Gothic Audio, defo cottage industry and well regarded.

 

I use Mogami Neglex 2534 Starquad and Neutriks from designacable on my Sugden Masterclass. There's also the low capacitance Mogami cable plus Belden or van Damme, they all sound a bit different truth be told (but so do recordings!)

Apart from Naim dins everything else on tv and streaming system is from Mark.
I have tried many loaners but MGCs products always satisfy me.

 

I'm not a strong believer in cable differences - though I have heard differences with speaker cables on some occasions.

I can't be bothered with test listening, particularly with XLRs balanced nature, so I go with Mogami as they seem to be an audio (studio/stage) industry standard.

Try The Worlds Best Cables brand on Amazon - they use mogami and are very cheap.

 

I have Mogami and Van Damme (don’t do expensive). They sound the same.
