Would This Work?

I have at present a primare amp, cd and tuner along with an airport express plugged into the aux I also have a Linn turntable and A&R A60. Could i run two sets of speaker cables one set from each amp to the same pair of speakers.The speakers are single wired
I was thinking of using one run of speaker cable bare wire connected via the screw binding posts on the speakers and the other run of cable with banana plugs into the speakers. Only one amp would be switched on at any time depending if i was listening to vinyl or cd. Any advice is as always appreciated.

a small switcher box may be a solution, to seperate the amplifier outputs.

I have several amps set up to use at any one time , each with its own speaker cable and one set of speakers and believe it or not I just plug in the amp I am using which is not too time consuming , if you do not wish to do this thena speaker switch box is the answer
