I happened to be looking in the right direction to see a pole mounted transformer catastrophically fail yesterday afternoon.
Earlier I noticed my neighbour was wearing nothin' but a *smile.
Today we sweltered, by local standards, and peaked at over 14°C.

today in my office at about 1300 by my desk. I'd been in a meeting in an air conditioned building, since 0830. I did ask a colleague to open the windows and start the fan but he forgot.
