Who is brave enough to post a selfie?

The parishioners told me they wanted to commemorate my forthcoming entry into OAPdom and change of familiar title from 'Young Gentleman' to 'Old Squire' in a lasting way. I told them although flattering it was unnecessary - but they were adamant...

Does Gentleman's Lane lead to Lady's Gardens?

You're all safe! I'm not able to inflict my boat on here as I don't know how to upload pictures!

Some excellent photos and lots of humour! Love it! :)

A public footpath-based (mostly) selfie collection from this afternoon. From the visual information you should be able to construct an entire decrepit human being.

1. From his trilby shall ye know ‘The Shadow.’

2. Choose your landing point carefully, old man... with luck and momentum you could triple jump over those puddles...

3. Suddenly I’m really pleased I started on that diet.

4. Now you are just taking the p***... Private property or not, I’m going the long way round.

5. Gearing up for my Andy Dufresne impersonation. Rita Hayworth poster already removed. Or Raquel if you prefer the film.

6. Here comes the tricky bit. Yes, both feet are mine. It took five minutes for me to stand up straight again after those contortions.

That brings back wonderful memories of my time on 2 wheels, I owned many bikes in my 2wheel life but I think that for an all rounder the GS was a superb machine.

I used mine for commuting /touring and just riding for the fun of it.

Mine was stolen in Brum just before we moved to France (2003) then lack of funds and then arthritic shoulders put paid to any more bikes.

Enjoy.
