Broke my normal rules and had a cheeky dram of the Bruichladdich last night. Beautiful nose and drinks very easily for 50%.

This is my new local whisky shop: https://www.whiskycastle.com/ and I expect it's going to get expensive having them a couple of hundred yards from my door.

I might have a browse this weekend as it looks like they have a decent range of their own bottlings as well as ones from other independents. I quite fancy the look of this one https://www.whiskycastle.com/p-1920-braeval-13-y-o-distiller-s-art-48-70cl.aspx. It's a bit more expensive than from MoM (who're sold out anyway) but it's convenient and also nice to support a local shop.
