What was the last music that you bought?

To accompany the "what was the last hifi that you bought" thread... Apologies if there has been such a thread in the past. I couldn't find one. Please no arguing or "clever" quips about buying music vs streaming subscriptions.

As for me:

Aidan Baker & Karen Willems - Nonland (FLAC)
Aidan Baker & Tim Hecker - Fantasma Parastasie (FLAC)
B/B/S/ - Brick Mask (CD)
Blackhill Transmitter - EP, 2nd, 3, and Four (FLAC)

I bought an investment copy of the Tubby Hayes vinyl box when the price briefly dipped to £100 last week. And a copy of the Nubya Garcia album on white vinyl because Tony L told me to at a moment when I was susceptible to such demands (ie I had a glass of Rochefort 10 in my hand.)

In the last seven days

- Shantalla

19 album downloads by
- Nenesh Mountain
- Lorde

- Hindarfjall
- Astralseid
- Zanias

6 45rpm singles by

So that's where the pocket money went - Bandcamp (by far he lion's share), Qobuz, Momox and eBay...

New Trunk 2LP compilation 'Do What You Love
Balgay Hill: Morning in Magnolia by Andrew Wasylyk
Sidetrack My Engine by Nora Brown. I really wish I'd bought her first album when it came out. It's hard to get now.

Hoping I buy no more records for the rest of this year.

Probably three years ago, one CD at a SH shop for something like 60p. Swedish artist whos name I've forgotten. No, not because it was bad.

This week, the housekeeping allowance has mostly gone on:
LUMP - Animal
Kokoroko - Kokoroko 12"
black midi - Cavalcade & Schlagenheim
Neil Ardley - A Symphony Of Amaranths

Currently debating whether I "need" the Tubby Hayes Fontana box...

Ital - Endgame (FLAC, currently on sale at bleep.com)
John Cage - Number Pieces (4xCD) and Two2 (2xCD) from Another Timbre

I think that's my music budget for September then...

Today:
Bill Evans - Trio 64 Acoustic Sounds/ Verve LP
Grant Green - Idle Moments Blue Note Classics LP
George Harrison - All Things Must Pass 2021 3LP Box Set
Beach Boys - Feel Flows 5CD Box Set

They'll keep me going for a while!

Found the JSP 4 X CD box of Louis Armstrong's Hot Fives and Sevens in a charity shop on a day out to Rochester today.

I've owned it before and sold it to make space but inspired by the love @Woodface has for Louis' music decided to invest £3.
It’s great, I do actually prefer his 50s work though as you can really hear his genius & he had nothing to prove by that point. Controversial view but I am probably not alone in this?
