Fabulous stuff. This turned me on to the Cellar Door box which is one of my favoritest box sets.

I also picked up an original LP copy of Live Evil - yet to play to see how it sounds like.

Sometimes it's just better to just enjoy the music, no matter the format, rather than to be an anal audiophile.

Another of the Verve 'fine art sleeves'. Verve Records – 559 785-2. CD, Remastered, 1998. This one is credited to John Altoon. Two sessions here an early 50s rather poor mono recording with Barney Kessel and Ray Brown and a similar stereo from the late 50s with a new trio.

Calexico - Spiritoso (LP format). A RSD release from 2013. Essentially the band with a large symphony orchestra, verging on a Morricone-esque spaghetti western type of sound. Excellent recording.
