  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    Change of mood ;) Castles in Space – CiS127. LP, 2023. The last time I was in Daresbury lab I had to give a big presentation in front of about 200 people and some big cheeses with a pounding hangover and little sleep thanks to the dinner the night before!

    I've been a great fan of R.E.M. since the mid '80s but after Bill Berry's departure the band lost its North, in my view... I stopped paying attention after "Around the Sun" which I wish I hadn't bought.
    My youngest is in his early teens and very much into rock. We've been reading their biography "Perfect Circle" and I felt I owed the last two albums a chance.
    Both "Accelerate" and "Collapse Into Now" are compressed as hell but I'm actually enjoying the latter.
