  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

According to the Naim app Waltz for Debby is my most frequently played album and that doesn’t include the vinyl copy I have, nor the same music on the Complete Village Vanguard (1961) set. An astonishing musical event.

I play the Village Vanguard CD collection (Flac) nearly every day, Bill Evans was amazing and so were the guys he played with.

    Marvellous musicians.

It's for quieter moods, I think. Still firmly rooted in the Blues but at that transition period. Not out of place in the series at all...

Coltrane live in Greenwich Village Feb 1962.

I seem to have have this recording on three different albums (all different titles!) so time to lose a couple.

2013 RSD release - dubious provenance and shaky sound quality but (obviously) wonderful music.
