  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

I've just giving that a first early morning listen while baking some bread- that is the most dramatic transformation I've heard from one record to another by any band!!! It knocks OK Computer to Kid A out of the park.

That said, I'm not quite sure what I think of it.......

That looks great - though I'm not sure the budget will stretch to it this month. Wish there was a cheap CD issue!

70s US reissue. So similar in mood to Wayne Shorter's titles as leader from that period. But what were they thinking tacking that last track on?!

Yeah it's a bit pricey, worth it though, excellent obscure tracks, nicely presented and sounds lovely. As with most new releases these days it comes in various incarnations, I just got the standard black version.

It's a bad cover and the back is worse, but the music is fine in my view. The common critical opinion suggests this is one of the more divisive Nucleus albums, which seems to largely stem from the dodgy artwork...

New Sault LP. FLACs released today via Bandcamp, 2xLP to follow in August given the usual vinyl production delays.

REM - Reveal - cd rip.

Haven’t listened to this for years but I remember listening to it on my Walkman on a holiday to Kefalonia many years ago - sunny memories! Interesting how sometimes music is linked with a specific event or place…

Another short blast from my teenage past Chrysalis – CJT 5. 2 x LP, 1979. I don't have many of these at all but I've still a soft spot for this one.

Great sleeve indeed! A definite nod to the mid fifties.
