1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

First time I heard the title track was listening to Dave Gelly's Night Owls show on Radio 2 back in the mid-80s. Kinda hooked by the whole atmosphere of it.

A different type of fusion: Marc Ribot ( with Jamaaladeen Tacuma, G. Calvin Weston, Mary Halvorson + strings) playing 70s Philly Soul in a Prime Time style.

Sorting records to go in Headway charity shop.

    Stuck this 4 L.P. 1982 compilation on.

Staus Quo, Sham 69, Hazel O’Conner, Stray Cats, Tenpole Tudor, Thin Lizzy, Blondie, The Beat and Genesis on the first side I have put on. Vinyl is unplayed. :)
Not the best sound quality, at 10 tunes a side it was never going to be the best, but on Deck B it is easily acceptable.
Looking forward to hearing Lene Lovich, Real Thing, Freez, Aneka, Barry Biggs, Showaddywaddy - I will avoid Joe Dolce, The Tweets, The Nolans and Johnny Logan :(

edit: just about finished the boxset. The Wife wants to buy it ! :)
Dooleys ‘Wanted’ is playing just now.

The Nolans and Lena Martell have been the low points, bearing in mind I swerved a few tracks on the basis of taste

Well, disc two of "The Best of" to be precise, but it's the same thing.

I used to love that album, but it got lost 30 years ago. Must track a copy down. Thanks.
