Was: Cut Copy - January Tape
Now: Brian Eno & Kevin Shields - The Weight Of History/Only Once Away My Son
Next up: Cliff Martinez - Solaris

Sedibus/The Orb - The Heavens, particularly the 18min epic track below that just chunders along whilst it builds with audio excerpts from nasa space missions. The stereo recording completely pisses all over any apple atmos tracks I’ve heard so far, I’m listening on roon/tidal wi flac so dunno quite how well it’ll sound with shitty YouTube compression.

File under "artists who should have received more attention but are now out of the game." I've been a fan since his first non-cd-r release, Heart. To quote the movie Office Space, I celebrate his entire collection.

Latest Discogs shipment is a bunch of rootsy stuff of various flavours. A couple of stunning sounding porky mint first presses of Dave Edmunds, Gary Davis, Robert Gordon & Link Wray, Dwight Yoakam and this, which is playing now:

(.....and Neil's Heavy Concept album which is a whole Canterbury scene convention with a Young One)

Listening to it right now - thought I'd search the forum before posting. It is absolutely immense.

I also recommend searching for some videos of the choreography that it was written for. Very surreal. Search for "Alias Cie Contre-Mondes" (disc 1) and "Alias Cie Normal" (disc 2). Warning, maybe NSFW (in a very artsy way).
