John Handy - live at Yoshi’s”. Nice mix of virtuoso playing and some accessible stuff that will keep anyone interested. ‘Carnival’ is a great intro to him as it’s so damn cheerful!

Fursaxa ‎– Myriad Of Satyrids

Spooky listening for a wet windy night.

First track: Beyond The Psalter, Lunaria Enters The Blue Lodge Ringing The Bells Of Capistrano Under A Canopy Of Moons.

You get the idea.

Was: Michael Jackson- Bad

Is : Etta James - At Last

Nxt: Wanda Jackson - The Queen of Rockabilly Salutes the King of Rock N’ Roll

Vinyl again? Yep

Bonnie Raitt - Road Tested - Tidal - some excellent singing and playing on this one with a great collection of songs including Richard Thompson’s Dimming of the Day, John Hiatt’s Thing Called Love and John Prine’s Angel from Montgomery.

There’s a lot to be said for some performers recognising that they are better interpreters than writers...

Elvis Costello - National Ransom - cd rip. Produced by T Bone Burnett and featuring a good collection of songs with interesting and melodic arrangements. He does love words doesn’t he?
