Was in Piccadilly Records in Manchester last week and bought a copy of Oneness by Matthew Halsall who I was not familiar with. Anyway really liked it so have explored his other stuff a bit more and am listening to Fletcher Moss Park via Qobuz.

(It is raining, car at mechanics for work, missus away - records all day then)

Well, managed to fit in Caberet OST on record after hearing Desert Island Discs today
(this cool bloke https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lin-Manuel_Miranda )

staying on soundtracks > one of my favourite films and soundtracks, Akira - just stunning and the pressing is amazing as well - wow.

Phil Miller - In Cahoots Live 86-89

A couple of ex-Soft Machine members, one ex-Hatfield and the North guitarist, one from Barbara Thompson's Paraphernalia and some other. Should be a good mix but suffers from ghastly mid-80s keyboard sounds. A bit meh.

Elbow - Giants Of All Sizes (record)

Not as instantly likeable as Little Fictions, but is definitely sounds like Elbow.

Needs another spin, but Divine Comedy - Office Politics is now pleasing me
