Rhythm of Cruelty
Magazine
I brought your face down on my head
It was something I rehearsed in a dream
You're too good looking for your own damn good
And you don't know what it could mean
You've got me dying of thirst in the meantime
It even hurts when I scream
You've got me drowning and still in the meantime
You don't know what it could mean
Because in my drunken stupor
I've got to admire your ingenuity
And I nod my head, oh so wisely
To the rhythm of your cruelty
You've got me dying of thirst in the meantime
It even hurts when I scream
You've got me drowning and still in

'Im indoors has just had the Soft Cell boxset, Keychains & Snowstorms delivered; so it look like we're working our way through that tonight.

eta - it's a nicely put together package

Wings, Venus and Mars
Buddy Greco, Soft and Gentle (my first LP, I think)
Barclay James Harvest, XII
Django Reinhardt, Djangology
Pepe Romero, Famous Spanish guitar music
The Blend of Jimmy Crawford, Live at The Talk of The Midlands, just needed to blow the dust off them a bit.

A compilation I've just made up for the car, including Mott the Hoople, Yes, Nazareth, Family, Robben Ford, Tom Waits, John Hiatt, Richard Thompson, and more....

This odd thing.

Historical interest and not a scratch in sight. Delightful. The sleeve is cool as well.

The recording of different accelerating motors is fantatic, something beautiful about the sound of an engine giving it some welly.

'Last Night A D.J. Saved My Life'
7" single

1982 > this takes me straight back to the dancefloor. 'Zanies' nightclub, Sandown, on the Isle Of Wight.

"there's not a problem that I can't fix..."

I have played this four times so far.

Cavern of Antimatter - hormone lemonade This is even more Neu! / Can influenced that their previous outings and all the better for it.
Ties in nicely with just finishing reading "All Gates Open" - the Can story.
