Pink Floyd / (The) Atom Heart Mother Live (Bath Festival, 1970). To say that this absolutely smokes the album is an understatement. More generally, I can't believe I've started listening to Pink Floyd again. Talk about a U-turn.

Japan The Collection .. I'd forgotten just how creative , intricate and emotive their sound was .

Willie Nelson, Across The Borderline.

When you reach the broken promised land
And every dream slips through your hand

Beck - Midnight Vultures.

Picked it up cheap a couple of days back - not sure why I'd not bought it before, as it'd great.

Everyone talks about Odelay but Midnight Vultures is just as good IMO but in a different way. He seemed to be in a happier/party mood at the time!

The Firebird - Rattle, Berlin Phil - from last night's R3 broadcast

iPlayer, SBT, NAD amp, Tannoy Eyris

Was: John Lee Hooker - Mr Lucky on vinyl

Is : Waterboys - Fisherman's Box 6 CDs (£19.58) If you like 'em great value.

Cheers....Dave

As regards Beck.... I love Odelay (very predictable) but second favourite is the Information. Such a shame I can't get it on vinyl. Unless anyone knows better.
