Owl City' lots of random stuff...

Unpicking his formula, aversion to the minor key, beamed pedal to first half beat of the barre and a nice line in rising thirds on the coda. Key of C to E transitions and keep to two modes per song. Basically a master of a pop song writer.

plus "when can I see you again" is used a lot on pony music videos... Wreck it Ralph is an ace film (and legend of the guardians was pretty ok too...)
My new not-very-guilty pleasure.

I have ever heard this sound so good and with none of the warble of vinyl when he really goes for this exploration of intensity and exploration.

Wow... Just of the moment...

Wow

Wow

Big Two Hundred - Your Personal Filth (the guys behind Chicken Lips, Bizarre Inc, The Emperor Machine etc. do an homage to James Chance and the No Wave scene).

Fujiya & Miyagi - Artificial Sweeteners, after picking it up at lunchtime (along with the Vermont album, and Farben presents James DIN A4)

Now onto the Vermont album, which is a rather lovely slice of electronica with guest appearances from the mighty mighty Jaki Liebezeit.
