1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    Re: Midlake, I am constantly amazed that this album, for all its pagan leanings and folk-music-from-the-woods roots, being a natural successor to early 70s Fairport Convention, could be made by a young band out of... Texas???
    It just doesn't compute. Every time I hear it, I just can't understand how this can come about.
    Sure, Bluegrass, Country, Blues, it's all folk music influences that came across with the settlers , but this... it can't account for it.
    I'm going to play it again now. I just adore it.
