Regis: Ital. What better way to follow Regis than with more Regis?
Three goddam pieces of gear to produce this record + a dictaphone thing for recording. It's a beast.

Huh. Listening to the remastered Columbia Masters series on Spotify vs a few FLACs I have

namely this: http://open.spotify.com/album/26xtcsYWbkKgtq19D28tTn

Blowin The Blues Away - Horace Silver (on Amazon here as an SACD)

Now either I am
  1. deaf
  2. The transfer to 320kbps is extraordinarily good, or
  3. the FLAC is extraordinarily holding it back
....but this is a terrific LP for sure.

Bill Evans/glass of Maker's Mark. Newfound appreciation for Kentucky AND New Jersey. And what a joy it must have been to be a bass player or drummer charged with chasing this fellow around a tune. Game on!

Patsy Cline - Crazy - a good recording of the time and what a voice.
Then - Benny Goodman - Live in Copenhagen - bliss. Both on CD!!

Now - The United States Of America - Garden of Earthly Delights
Next - The Residents - Third Reich 'n Roll.

Chris

Wicked Web - Craft
24 bit FLAC from B&W.
Not my usual music, but one of the advantages of the B&W Society of Sound is trying new and different stuff.
