A yob has just been sent down for 12 months for punching a Police horse. The horse was apparently unharmed. A complete and utter waste of public money. Why not sentence him to a year of mucking out the Police stables by way of unpaid work.

Now now cooky. The horse was off-duty and out for a few nosebags with his mates. According to an eye witness, PC Dobbin made a mocking gesture at the convicted man by extending his upper horse lip and exposing his nashers.

The convicted man assumed this to be a prelude to a further verbal assault referencing the word f€%# tattooed on his forehead and so acted in self defence.

It's never what it seems.
