At the Munich High End Show Vitus Audio proudly unveiled their new Signature Series Integrated Amplifier, the SIA-030.

This new amplifier is not replacing the iconic SIA-025 - more of a bigger brother if you like!

The 030 has been a while coming, Hans Ole Vitus delayed it for almost a year to make sure it was perfect, he said at Munich 2018 he was in no hurry to launch it and he would only do so when he was satisfied.

Priced at £31,000 GBP for the standard amplifier there are also 2 optional modules that can be added in the form of a phono-stage and a DAC/Streaming board. It is anticipated these board will cost around £4500 each. The DAC board will have USB-B, AES-EBU, Coaxial and Optical, along with an Ethernet port for Tidal and Qobuz, this DAC board will be a Roon Endpoint - making the SIA-030 a tantalising solution for someone wanting the ultimate one box. The phono module has had no info released on it yet but will be loosely based around the Vitus Reference model.

Our demo SIA-030 should arrive late June/July all being well.

Performance was pretty special - like an SIA-025 just a lot more everything! Crazy levels of resolution.

Bit more info on my website and an interesting PDF document on the design/construction
