When washing towels, (or anything else that you wish to be absorbent) do not add conditioner to the wash.

Your towels will function better and the towels will feels deliciously rough.

They will retain their fluffiness AND absorbency if you tumble-dry them.

we wouldn't have a tumble dryer in the house. Not a fan, and the wife dislikes them.
