Got a free one tonight at the Wrotham Arms in Broadstairs as well. It's a French duo called Baton Bleu if I remember correctly.
 
FAO Erased Tapes fans - 8/9 September at the South Bank Centre, with shows from Kiasmos, Dawn Of Midi, Rival Consoles, Penguin Cafe, Daniel Brandt, Peter Broderick, and more. Tickets on general sale 1st June.
 
3 gigs in 3 days last week. Ryley Walker in London, Shriekback in Lewes and Paul Rodgers in Brum. Enjoyed them all, Ryley was a full on rock epic sprawl live, Shriekback were tight as feck and Paul Rodgers did "Magic Ship", "Love you So" and "Catch a Train".
 
Off to hear Steve Noble and a bunch of other dudes play some Mingus at the Vortex in Dalston tonight. First night of jazz since I became a Daddio for real.

Gorillaz last night were awesome. don't know why they chose such a small and obscure venue, but it was a great show. Damon Alban is a great showman.

on to Field Day this afternoon, to see Death Grips and then the Olympic Park tonight for Depeche Mode.
