Does anyone have any tips for returning a pair of Kan IIs to their non biamped state, given that I don't have the original plates? Would copper wire be ok or do I need to craft (read botch!) some metal plates?

Hi,
If you mean the metal plate that connects the speaker terminals on the back then I called Linn and they sent me free of charge Ninka plates that fit fine, albeit they have three terminal connectors.
