Post the notable tweets you wanted to share but couldn't shoe horn into another thread.

Rules of engagement:

1. A notable tweet is funny or informative.
2. Try to say something about the tweet other than just posting a link.
3. If it's just a funny comment, post the text and a link.
4. Avoid tweets on Twitter controversial subjects (e.g. Brexit, Gender Critical Feminism)
5. If there is already another thread on that subject post your tweet there (e.g. Brexit, Trump)

IF YOU DON'T LIKE TWITTER THERE IS NO NEED TO TELL US.

If that Stomp thing can make millions and go on for 20 years I see no reason why this shouldn't take off.

OK, I consider myself ok on the internets there with most things, and I have asked it before, but, how does twitter work?

I don't mean on a philosophical level or what ever, I mean when I click peoples links to tweets, there is like the tweet then perhaps 1 comment then all the stuff below it seems totally unrelated. Is it supposed to be like this? klfrs link above for instance, I guess we all just need to be super intelligent to know what this geezer is on about? everything below it seems totally unrelated, and what is he on about. Also his account and tweet is deleted. Is this part of the excitement of that tweet?

No, I don't tend to use twitter it has to be said.
