Tube rolling advise please

We are all 'degrading' all the time we are 'on'. So is everything in this universe. Nothing stays unchanged, valves are the least of your problems.

That's certainly the case now regardless, as I don't have any in my system but do have a draw full of them (Bendix, Mullard, RCA, Dario, etc) and an unused amp.

;-)

Will some of these NOS tubes go up in value or should I get rid?

That depends on the type, have a look on eBay, some manufacturers valves are fetching silly prices.

I suppose like most things each has good and bad traits, I've not heard any valve systems with ruthlessly tight, punchy bass... but the warmth and euphony can be a nice plus.

I also didn't like knowing the tubes were degrading all the time they were on.

Not what interested me. I found the sound more dynamic and faster, sounded more real to me. Sold my Krell with great relief.
