Also worth noting that according to increasingly desperate (and thick) Trumpistas on the interweb.. Biden is now a Marxist... Gosh! Though in all fairness I don't think he has yet been accused of eating babies.
 
This is worth watching. There's a very sobering TED talk here from CNN's Van Jones, actually posted a week ago, titled 'What if a US presidential candidate refuses to concede after an election?':


He's basically saying that there is nothing in the constitution that could stop Trump seizing power via a coup and remaining President if he's determined enough. It sounds crazy but the fact that it is a possibility is frankly terrifying.

Hopefully it won't go that far, but it's something to think about.

Huh? It's pretty much in the nature of coups that they are not stopped by anything written on a piece of paper.

But if you 'siezed power' in a way the constitution supposedly allows, then it wouldn't be a coup.

Anyway, I won't view this thing unless you explain how he get around "The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January...." (20th Amendment).
 
As Mother Jones are running worth it might as well mention that.... Jim Watkins, the person behind Qanon, is currently under investigation for owning both child porn images and hosting child porn sites.

They're a bunch of rank amateurs working on a very low level. It was effective because it's chief audience are utterly naive about life, let alone the big wide world. The USA has a serious problem with the cult of eschatology that dumbs people down to such an extent you can literally, make them believe anything. The true irony is, they've done exactly the opposite of that that was intended. They've damaged Murdoch far more than they have the other networks and given Qanon is merely another of the playbox with which Mercer, Murdoch etc were spreading misinformation, it's backfired big time. Qanon's biggest take up over the past few years has been 40 summat white housewife types, it's even split marriages up where the wife has left for another state and some fellow Qanon believer.

Mother Jones doesn't say Watkins is "the person behind QAnon", just that he is their "primary enabler".
