  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Transformer cables and plugs (Chord 2Qute)

I'm planning to move my 2Qute into my bedtime headphone rig. The problem with the 2Qute in the bedroom is that blasted LED light is going to light up the room, so I definitely need to be able to turn it off easily as I nod off listening to music.

With my Raspberry Pis, I have bought little USB cables with switches on them, so I can just hit one button to power down the Pi. I'd like to do something similar for the 2Qute.

What do I need to know to purchase a cable that is suitable? Is it just pin diameter? Does anyone know a website or eBay seller that sells an appropriate switch? I'd prefer to avoid switching off at the mains.

A bit of judicious googling got me the pin diameters, so I'm going to try a cable from Amazon and see.

Let me know how you get on with that. Just got a Qutest. Sounds fantastic but lights always on is a bit wearing
