Transferring Cine 8 to a digital source?

Hi,
My parents have just found a roll of Cine film (I think it's 8mm?) of their wedding day back in the 60’s. Looking for recommendations on the best place to send it to transfer it to a digital source (DVD)?

Cheers
Rob

Try
Stanleysonline.co.uk

They do just about every type of archive to digital and are based in London. Not used this actual service but I know them well through other parts of their business at that address. Great guys and very professional.

I've just finished transferring many reels of standard 8 and super 8 for the in-laws, and still have the machinery in house, along with editing software to tidy it up. This yields mp4 file(s), which can then be written to DVD with software.

Is it a single reel? 3 inch diameter? 5 inch? Larger?

If you don't want to trust it to the Royal Mail (I wouldn't), then generally speaking, where are you? I'm in Lothian Region.
