  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    Mordant is out. Sunak coronation.

PS Good news for the opposition. No way in hell will Tory gammon vote en-masse for a BAME leader, let alone a billionaire oligarch.

Mordaunt drops out at (literally) the last minute. Sunak is the PM. The markets will be calmed. The plebs will suffer.

    SteveS1 I heard that, pardon?

The Privileges Committe should drive a wooden stake through him. That would be the end and I so want to see him have to fight a bye-election.

The "it's a globalist coup" lunatics will be having a meltdown as we speak. Britain has fallen to the IMF/WEF/globalists/Bill Gates/etc/etc!

I’ve started a new thread. Liz Truss is over. A whole new chapter of fail has opened.

To be honest Tony you could have called the thread British PM leadership failure Part V. I can’t imagine Captain Hindsight will be any better assuming the reds get in at the next GE. The woeful ping pong tennis of the two party pantomime system across the ages etc.

He won't last there are already tories calling for a GE saying he has no mandate, which he hasn't!

    This gonna be fun.

I suppose the first question is how many of the full-on nutters will be in the new cabinet.

He certainly has no mandate for the sort of austerity many people expect him to introduce. The party has a mandate based on its 2019 manifesto, he should adhere to that or go back to the people and argue why something else deserves their support. He won't, though, because crisis.

They have already said they will blow up the government if their demands re-NIP are not met, which they won't be.

True, but how far back would you have me go? To be honest the most recent contender for a good PM I can bring to mind is Attlee, and I can’t be arsed counting back that far!

I thought John Smith looked like the next quality leader had he made it, I can’t disagree with you!
