  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Tommy or Quadrophenia?

An experience almost similar to mine. As a young child, an elderly Aunt was minding me one day and offered to take me to the pictures. The lobby of the Odeon in Liverpool was packed with slightly older girls queueing to see Tommy, the movie poster for which fascinated me almost as much as the girls did. Deaf to my assurances that we could blag ouw way into a movie of that certificate (was it an AA in the UK?), she dragged me in to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs instead.

That's how I roll, and why I prefer Quadrophenia.

Quadrophonic....the soundtrack of my teenage years. Just an amazing album that still stands up IMHO... Who's Next is also awesome. I've still got my original copies in good nick and play them regularly.

Quadrophenia. It's The Who's best studio album.

Thanks for posting that - heard the album many times, but I'd never seen the movie.
