Today I have been in 2 Ferraris

We see a fair few supercars coming through our village (new ones and vintage ones - we're a waypoint on various highly regarded driving routes in the Cairngorms) and the one thing they all appear to have in common is that they get driven quite slowly so I'm assuming they are either enjoying the scenery (which is great) or the enjoyment comes from the ownership experience rather than them being a lot of fun to drive.

I saw a matte-black Aventador in traffic the other day and was rather impressed because it was being driven in anger with skill. He was approaching a very fun stretch of twisties up a hill, I would like to have watched but I had to turn.

As you say supercars usually appear to be operated by someone who is too old or has too many points on their license to enjoy it, this time was different.

^ Some of the other passes were equally 'interesting'..

Yeah, I saw the BMW with the banged up rear end still driving in the Cannonball in Slane...no one really noticed LOL.

Here they are a few years back opening up the taps next to a 60kph sign in Kerry...no fooks given...

In the quiet Christmas-New Year period a few years ago a convoy comprising a lime green Lamborghini, a dark blue Ferrari and a red Porsche passed my humble vehicle, at speed in lane 4 of the M25 motorway.

A mile or so later, around a bend, the lime green Lamborghini was stationary some 20 metres off the motorway, 5 metres up the grass bank. The dark blue Ferrari was stationary in the next "smart motorway" refuge area and the red Porsche was nowhere to be seen. There was no debris and nothing else out of the ordinary. I will forever wonder what happened just out of my sight.

Reminds me of the porno for pyros song cursed male.

All the guys
That really have the money
Are too old
To have a good time with it

Too old to turn the women on
Too old to have a fast car and drive it

Meh. They're still very much in the 'lets really try hard to pretend we're being naughty' bracket. This is more like your proper 'and not a single f*ck was given' territory - on both sides of the law .. :)

Yes, the good old funeral send off.

Not a single MK4 Cortina caning it in your Kerry video Andy, what a letdown! *

* long-standing joke with a lifelong mate about his having to beat the women away from him with a sh1tty stick when in his MK4, he has owned several nice cars, lots of laughs.

Funny how we change though, only the Audis really caught my eye, there is no hope for me.
