Thorens TD 350

A friend tells me he can get one of these s/h, and only two years old. Comes with a Rega RB250 arm. He asked me what it was like, and how does it compare with the better known alternatives. I replied that I had never heard of it. It's definitely a TD 350.

Does anyone know anything about this deck?

Google is everybody's friend. However, I was hoping that someone might own one of these decks, or had heard one of these decks.

My own Googling suggests the cheaper TD160HD is a better deck.

Very nice deck and, IMHO, superior to the TD160HD, which I personally found to be something of an aural assault until some of the RDC features on it were removed.
