got about 2.5 days (3 nights) in Glasgow just after Easter - hotel and restaurants are sorted - so how to spend our days?

Any pubs/taprooms that are must visits? Museums are not really our thing until with an engineering/tech focus.

Is there a tourist bus -thing?

Yes there is an open top bus. Leaves from George Square I think. Buchanan Street is a lovely shopping area as is Princess Square. George Square is also nice. There is the Transport Museum and the Art Galleries (certainly worth a visit). There are loads of bars and restaurants in the city centre. We like Ralph and Finns https://www.bing.com/search?q=ralph+and+finns+glasgow&qs=SC&pq=ralph+anf+finns&sc=10-15&cvid=E2EB3 for a drink and the Citizen across the roadhttps://www.bing.com/search?q=the+citizen+glasgow&form=ANNTH1&refig=ca430f8074744b5799c02977012585
Miller and Carter is also very nice for a mealhttps://www.bing.com/search?q=glasgow+steakhouse&qs=LMSQ&pq=glasgow+steakhouse&sc=9-18&cvid=CC3B
Argyle Arcade is worth a visit, but could cost ya :) https://www.bing.com/search?q=glasgow+steakhouse&qs=LMSQ&pq=glasgow+steakhouse&sc=9-18&cvid=CC3
If you haven't been, I recommend a visit to Edinburgh. Train from Queen St station or bus from Buchanan St. station.
Hope you have a nice stay :)

just reading about the bus - been to Edinburgh loads of times - we love it never tire of the place. On this short break we have 3 nights in Edinburgh and 3 nights Glasgow. We've only been to Glasgow once, and that was for one night for track cycling at the velodrome. Food and hotels already sorted......

ah i see - thanks we are sorted for food. Innis and Gunn beer we quite like - had and interestingly quiet experience in their Dundee branch last year. Other suggestions are appreciated

If you can ditch your entourage for an hour or two you're welcome to visit my 'dem' room in Cathcart in the southside - no purchase necessary :)

It's just me and my Tannoys so not much to do except play some tunes and enjoy
