The watch thread: pocket, wrist, sporty, showy? You name it!

I dug out a back-up watch the other day. Originally purchased approximately twenty odd years ago while on holiday. My usual watch had stopped so this was the holiday special, very cheap, about £50 back then but has proven to be a good slugger with decent looks.

 

Like the yellow dial

 

I like yellow dial divers watches. Orange too, the orange Monster is a classic.

 

My OM has been my favourite weekend watch this summer.

I also have a yellow square G-Shock that really deserves more outings.

 

Any thoughts on this? I like the California style dial, the size and the bronze case.

I like the style Matt, mixing Roman and Arabic numerals annoys me though.

Nomos also does a mixed numeral dial, but I have to admit it’s my least favorite of their offerings.

 

Sold the Seiko and got myself this Nomos
